landscapes

I spent twenty-five years in my last home—an old farmhouse on 24 acres in rural northcentral Pennsylvania, the longest I had lived anywhere, and I settled into that beautiful place. Now I live in much more populated northeast Massachusetts, and the move has only made me more aware of place, of connecting with where I am. My landscape quilts do not seek to replicate a particular landscape, however, but try to capture the essence of it, perhaps from a focused point of view.
